Tuesday Morning Prayer Group - This foundational group of pastors, business people and government leaders meet every Tuesday morning in the marketplace to pray for businesses, government, schools, and churches. Contact Edsel Duréus at edureus@thanksgivingtabernacle.org or 972.299.9970 for a schedule of times and locations. Cottage Prayer Meeting – Sunday, March 30, churches across the city will encourage their members to hold prayer meetings in their homes.Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast – Mayor Franke hosts a bi-monthly prayer breakfast focusing on prayer for businesses, government, education and churches. April 2 event will focus on National Day of Prayer. Contact Mistie Underhill at 972.291.4465.Prayer Walk and Literature Distribution – Beginning Sunday, April 27, 2008, with the suggested start time of 3 pm – Teams from churches across the city will walk their respective neighborhoods praying and distributing door hangers to promote the National Day of Prayer stadium event. All congregations are encouraged to participate (see suggested handout). Transformation Vision will provide prayer guide and door hangers.
